So this post has been on my mind and heart for a long time now. But to say the least, it has been a busy few months. I have been posting over on my personal and now business instagram about this venture for a little while now, but its time to explain why I chose to do it, and why now.
What Is Going On?
I took what I truly loved to do – get people living healthier lives BUT without being miserable and saying buh bye to carbs forever, and I decided to transform it into a career. I became a certified health and wellness coach! I can now actually help other women put THEMSELVES first and I could not be more excited about that!
Business Owner?
If you told me two years ago I’d be a small business owner I’d laugh in your face. But over the past year or so, it is something I’ve wanted to do, I just didn’t know what that business would be. Now that I AM a business owner [we launch December 28th!] I am SO excited to go on this journey! It is QUITE stressful preparing for launch, and getting all the systems in place to do so, but I will say blogging has definitely helped me prepare for exactly this!
So WHAT IS IT?
RIGHT, THAT! The business is called On the Healthy Side and it is health and wellness coaching for women who want to put their health and fitness first in 2017 [and beyond] but in an obtainable way that can maintained, unlike any diet. We will be offering two courses, one on planning meals and healthy grocery shopping and the other on eating well, knowing how to fuel your body, and a premise called traffic light eating. There will also be one-on-one coaching available and recipe makeovers where I basically take your favorite recipes and healthily them. It is ALL going to be AWESOME! But here’s what I want from you, my darlings! If you’re interesting, grab a girlfriend to help hold you accountable! Take a course together, or get onboard together with custom meal plans! No matter what you want to do, I can help you live healthier this coming year!

Because I’ve BEEN THERE. Four years ago I was making high carb dinners with tons of cheese and processed crap every night. I have lost a significant amount of weight by learning what I CAN and can NOT have, and all about having everything in moderation. I’ve kept the weight off, and I’ve never once said no to ice cream if I truly wanted it.
